Recently, the French luxury beauty brand Chanel (Chanel) for the No. 1 red camellia eye serum refreshed packaging, launched a rotating applicator massage head, the design by the Netherlands TNT Group and the French plastic injection molding supplier FaiveleyTech, and has applied for a patent. This cooling applicator massage head consists of a cap and a massage head made of Sulapac bio-based material by FaiveleyTech. Sulapac is an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional plastics, made from sustainable and responsible raw materials derived from recycled consumer, chemical or agricultural wastes that can be degraded by natural microorganisms without leaving behind microplastics. The massage head has a total of eight components divided into two interconnected mechanical sub-assemblies. Both sub-assemblies are made of stainless steel, the first sub-assembly consists of a textured head and a rod, while the second sub-assembly includes two end caps and a rod. The two sub-assemblies are joined together by two polyketone (POK) rings, ensuring a robust and durable rotating function. The rotating applicator head can also be reused with a “refillable” serum bottle, and TNT Group's engineering team has optimized the design of the texturizing applicator head to balance depth and polish.
