1. Abundant biomass energy reserves

China is very rich in biological natural resources, and annually produces 1.2 billion tons of agricultural and forestry waste, including 700 million tons of straw, and 3.3 billion tons of organic emissions from livestock, equivalent to nearly 1.5 billion tons of standard coal.
Biomass energy is not only renewable, but also enables artificial cultivation of energy. It has revolutionized the way human beings have obtained energy since the Industrial Revolution, allowing energy to move from the era of extraction to the era of cultivation.
2. Favorable to the protection of the ecological environment
Although hydropower, wind power and photovoltaic are green power, they cause great damage to the ecological environment. The ecological problems caused by the construction of hydropower, wind power and photovoltaic have been highly criticized by society every year.
Biomass not only does not cause ecological problems, but is also the greatest protector of the ecosystem. Agricultural and forestry resources are the only renewable resources that can directly protect the atmosphere, ecology and environment.
Biomass energy is a natural green fuel, and after combustion, from raw material regeneration to energy conversion, the whole cycle can tend to zero carbon emissions. Therefore, biomass energy has great potential to realize the goal of carbon neutrality.
3. Diversification of utilization patterns
The comprehensive utilization mode of biomass energy is very diversified and can be realized: power generation, heating, gas production, oil production, biomass carbon production, all the energy commodities required by industrial civilization, biomass energy can provide.
Biomass diversified industries have made great progress, especially biomass power generation with cogeneration as the main mode of energy supply, which has formed a very complete and mature industrial chain.
In today's coal power is gradually de-capacity, due to coal to gas, coal to electricity into the cost bottleneck, and wind power and photovoltaic can not achieve a stable supply of energy, biomass thermoelectricity is becoming the best alternative role of industrial production of energy.
4. Seamless energy replacement is possible
Industrial production and social energy demand for energy is mainly reflected in: electricity, heat, gas, oil; and these points of wind power, photovoltaic and hydropower have limitations, and can not achieve a stable and safe energy supply.
Biomass is highly integrated with fossil energy sources, providing a stable and secure supply of electricity, gas, heat, and oil without the need to change existing energy infrastructure and architectural systems, enabling seamless energy replacement.
In the period of China's energy structure adjustment, only biomass energy can cover all the energy commodities of industrial civilization and take up the task of new energy transformation, which is not available to other renewable energy sources.
5. Global bioenergy utilization
From the point of view of renewable energy utilization around the world, biomass energy end-use accounted for more than 50%, especially in Europe biomass energy in the new energy more than 60%, far more than wind and solar energy.
A significant number of countries in Europe use biomass energy as a basic energy source. Biomass heating, in particular, accounts for more than 80% of renewable energy heating in Europe.
