UNIQLO launched the "JOIN: The Power of Apparel" project again on World Environment Day with the launch of the "Doraemon Sustainable Model" collection for spring and summer, all made of 100% recycled fabrics.
For every object item sold by UNIQLO in the global market between June 5 and July 4, the Swift Group will donate $1 (up to $1 million) to the Asia-Pacific Cultural Center for UNESCO (ACCU) for its activities to reduce marine litter.
UNIQLO has been concerned about the environmental problems caused by plastic and uses recycled polyester fibers derived from recycled plastic bottles to make clothing, including some sun protection clothing, quick-drying clothing, and shaker fleece. This spring and summer, UNIQLO first launched the use of 100% recycled polyester quick-drying clothes, large body using 75% recycled polyester sunscreen, as well as 54% recycled polyester cool underwear, so that consumers start from the "clothes", love fashion and love the planet.

Following the launch of its popular "Doraemon Sustainability Model" series of T-shirts and shirts in 2022, UNIQLO is once again introducing newly designed spring and summer products, including three designs of T-shirts and a portable carry bag.
